Republican Prosecutor's Budget Increases

Awful Ambrozaitis simply won't stop being awful.

Clare County is in a budget crisis and Awful Ambrozaitis wants more.

She requests a 3% increase for her staff wages, a $1,000 increase for Crime Victim Advocate, increase the witness fees to $12,000, and increase some Prosecutor Diversion Program noone has every heard of to $800.

Awful Ambrozaitis promised to save Clare County money--now she wants raises for positions added since she added them. MORE FAILED PROMISES FROM A FAILED PROSECUTOR.

Awful Ambrozaitis Sued by Assistant

Here's proof that the Clare County press won't print what is really going on with Awful Ambozaitis.

In September 2010, Sarah Balzer, a former Clare County Assistant Prosecutor under Awful Ambrozaitis filed suit for wrong firing. Did you read about this in the local press? Didn't think so.

The 19 page lawsuit enumerates such misconduct as having hidden cameras to spy on employees invading not only their professional life but their personal privacy as well, sexual discrimination, diparate treatment, wrongful demotion, Whistleblowers Act violations, retailiation and a violation of the Bullard Plawicki Right to Know Act.

The case number is 10-900491-CZ and filed by the Demorest Law Firm PLLC of Birmingham, MI.

The Clare County Democratic Party has been a leader in exposing the nefarious activites of Awful Ambozaitis.

We now have a brouchure on the home page of our website citing some of the unprofessional conduct of Clare County's worst ever prosecuting attorney.

While you are doing it, let people know that the newspapers, especially the Clare Sentinel where Awful Ambozaitis worked after she was rightfully fired by Norm Gage, won't print what is really going on.

The Clare County Plan

Michigan's government has no clue on how to get Michigan's economy up and running again. Clare County is arguably Michigan's poorest county. Who better to comment on how to spur on Michigan's recovery.

As business, corporations and workers run to other States or Countries for a better chance at prosperity, Michigan government has been working desperately to keep its huge government and is disparately looking for ways to increase taxes on a shrinking population of people and business.

What should be included in the Clare County Plan? Should we not create the kind of environments found in more successful States and/or Countries? How else would we be able to compete with them?

Republican Clare Sentinel

The present ownership of the Clare Sentinel appear to extremely lean republican. This first looked this way when Norm Gage fired Awful Ambrozaitis when she was an assistant prosecutor. The Sentinel hired Awful Ambrozaitis and then began a series of hit articles against Gage. At the political debates every election year, the Sentinel editor was the moderator and the questions posed to the candidates had a decidedly republican slant. Since Awful Ambrozaitis got elected, the Sentinel has went out of their way to defend her to the point that they slant and ignore pertinent facts.

The question is whether the Democratic Party should call for democratic candidates to boycott the debates if the Sentinel editor is the moderator...

Awful Ambrozaitis

We have had numerous inquiries about recalling the prosecutor. You start a recall by getting wording approved by the Clare County Election Commission, then you have 180 days to get about 3,800 valid signature but all the signature must be obtained in a 90 day window. Basically, you are looking at 40 plus signatures per day. This is a daunting task to say the least. Successfull recalls employ paid signature gatherers. Your looking at about $15,000 for paid petition circulators in Clare County. Then if you get the signatures, an election is held. It is more practical to work to get her out in the next election. It shouldn't be hard work as she is destroying her reelection chances very well on her own. We just need a candidate.
